It's so refreshing to see this question! Most people want to stay in Manhattan's best neighborhoods, and they want to pay less than $100! Your question, by contrast, is quite realistic.





The good news is that there are lots of hotels in the Upper West Side that are below your price-point. In fact, as long as you're not targeting the high-end brands, nearly ALL of them are.

Incidentally, the Upper West Side is one of the very best neighborhoods in the city. Specifically, anywhere in the 70's (meaning 70th through 79th Streets) is fantastic, especially those close to Central Park. The Comfort Inn, for example, is literally just feet away from the park, and the price certainly rings in under your parameter.

If its the Upper West Side you want its the Upper West Side you should have. Feel like a New Yorker not a Times Square Tourist.. The Olcott is clean, not particularly expensive near Central Park (same block as the Dakota) and near Lincoln Center as well. Good transportation to anywhere. East or West.

The Broadway Millenium is very nice, if you are looking for a decent hotel, however, depending on the type of room and when you are going ti can get a little pricey but it's certainly worth it it's a gorgeous place to stay, the staff are wonderful and very courteous!!
unless u go to like a holiday inn you probably won't find one tht cheap but a good hotel is the continental
