Advice on hotels in London's West End?

I am going to London for two nights in July and need to book a hotel. I have tickets to see a show at the Playhouse and would like to stay somewhere that isnt too far away. Can anyone recomend a budget hotel nearby (something like a premier inn etc). Please no replies like 'Travelodge', could you please specify particular hotels? I know you asked for a specific hotel name, but that would be on just one persons word and might not be something you would like. SO ill give you a link to a site that i always use when i go travelling.





I think its the best site as you can search via budget hotels, hostels etc.. and you can have a look at what the people who have stayed there rated it.





This way you will have a general idea of the place.





Also you can then book the room via the site aswell. As im not sure on what price your looking for this would be the best, as i uset to live in the west end and only know of expensive hotels, but there are alot of hostels. (the hostels in the west end are not the best though) .





I know you want to be close to the west end but if you were looking for somewhere else, there are some beautiful hostels, quite and clean near hyde park / paddigtion area, they are quite cheap and decent and you internet cafes near by , the tube stations, bus and hyde park.
