Are there cheap hotels in Key west, Florida?

im looking for a cheap hotel $80 or less per night. and has anyone ever gone to a hotel there and it was a good one but not too expensive? Are there cheap hotels in Key west, Florida?
It just depends on when you go. Prices are typically higher during the summer months, but if you can go during ';off'; seasons, then you should be able to find a good rate.

Head over to http://www.resideo.com/us/florida/keywes… and check rates (you can sort the results by price, to see the cheapest places first).

Good luck! Are there cheap hotels in Key west, Florida?
As far as I know, you can't get a hotel/motel/bed %26amp; breakfast for under around $100.00 per night...check with Travelocity to be sure.

There are LOTS of wonderful places to stay in Old Town Key West; we're staying at a place called Merlin Guesthouse at the end of July for around 120 per night for a King bed....this is a freakishly cheap price.

The travel industry is suffering a little in this economy, so now's a good time to find inexpensive hotels, especially in South Florida in the middle of summer.

Edit: By the way, the summer IS the off season for South Florida.
Hi, there are a lot of great deals out there today, but I happened to have found an interesting alternative. There are tons of timeshare owners who rent out there units. You can get 1-2 and even 3 bedrooms not just a 1 room hotel, for a fraction of the cost. These are resorts with everything you can imagine. Check out buy-rent-sell-timeshare.com they are a timeshare network. for an example I got a 2 bedroom with all the bells and whistles in kissimmee, FL. for $64 for each of us adults I had my 3 kids 2 so all together it worked out to be $25 PP that was a great deal for me!

Hope that helps

Key West and cheap should only be in the same sentence when the word ';isn't'; is between them.
