I want to take a disabled relative on a holiday but am having trouble finding any information about where to take her. Can anyone help. Can anyone recommend disabled hotels/ accomodation and attractions in the south west?
LOL - I can think of only one hotel that is definitely ';disabled'; and that is Faulty Towers.
However, to be serious, you can search the web for a list of hotels that cater to disabled visitors. There you will find a good choice in many cities.
Follow the web link below to visit a really good site for the disabled visiting England.

Have a look at this link from the South West Tourist Board

We stayed at a place called Hartland Forest Parc on the borders of Devon and Cornwall.
They have a number of lodges and some are equipped for disabled.
It is just off the A30 which is the main road that runs the length of both counties and takes you straight to most attractions.
Where you go depends on their age but most that we went to were very accomodating.
We have two disabled sons however both can walk but I always tend to check out their disabled facilities.
