What are some good hotels in Key West?

Never been to Key West and trying to book a descent room close to all the attractions.What are some good hotels in Key West?
I lived in Key West for over 8 years. The hotels that are right downtown are sometimes pricey, however, you will be right in the middle of everything. The Hyatt has a beautiful place, with the best Bloody Mary I have ever had! Also, the Ocean Key House has a perfect sunset view. On Duval Street there is a Holiday Inn La Concha and this puts you front and center for all of the Duval Street action. There are many hotels that are not downtown, but this requires you to have a car or rent a moped in order to get around. Good luck!What are some good hotels in Key West?
Spring-Summer is much better to book in key west because its way less expensive than in the colder months.


You may want to try a bed and breakfast instead. We stayed at Le Pensione B%26amp;Breakfast and it was close to the attractions as well as not far from the famous cemetary. The breakfast was enough to keep us filled up til dinner. We didn't even eat lunch ! Getting around Key West is not difficult, there are bicycle rentals, and scooter rentals. If you don't care to simply walk around.


There are many hotels and bed and breakfasts. I just can't recall any other names . I'd try Expedia.com ...click on the tab (hotels), then just type key west....don't fill any other info out and hotels with ratings will com up on the screen. You can also try tripadvisor.com


Duval St. is the main street with bars and shops
