What are some good vacation spots/hotels for families w/kids on the west coast of Florida?

Well I live in the Tampa Bay area and I would have to say there are so many different things to do that are fun in this area especially in Clearwater and along St. Pete Beach. There are so many resorts, I huge playground by Pier 60, they usually have lange blow-up slides on the beach, so many different resorts and motels and then there are also many different things to do like go out on a pirate ship, dolphin watches, jet skiis, powerboats and parasailing.





Clearwater is the boating capital of florida and the sand is so white!!! Beautiful! I try to go Ocean Kayaking every chance I get with the many different Islands along this coast! You also have such areas like Tarpon Springs where they have the Sponge docks (Where they harvest sponge) or Ft. Desoto (where they have a very old fort, camping %26amp; beaches) And there are so many different museums like the Salvador Dahli museum.What are some good vacation spots/hotels for families w/kids on the west coast of Florida?
Tampa, Destin, Ft. Myers. There are a ton of condos/hotels/rental homes online.
